Pumkpins

9.30am-1pm for children (age 8+) and Teens









A fabulous opportunity to learn how to sew your own Halloween Pumpkins decorations to use year after year to decorate your house, your bedroom window...
You will learn how to cut with a sewing pattern, use a sewing machine to put the main body together before hand sewing the rest, add a cinnamon stick for the stem! and a hand sewn felt leaf to finish it off.
You will leave with as many pumpkins as you can make in this morning of fun and filled with learning skills, tje sewing patterns to make more at home, for yourself or as gifts to friends or to sell online, at your school fete, Christmas markets...
You will need to bring some fabric, ideally something you find at home or in charity shops, not on Amazon or Shein! Nothing new or stretchy but maybe a Dad's shirt, a pretty Summer dress, a scarf, a pillow case....if they have a stain, a tare it's perfect! you can't sell it or give it to someone so let's use it! You might want to bring some stuffing but only if you have some to spare at home.
Will be provided: all equipment and bits needed to make your pumpkin(s) and a well deserved snack and drink for a short break mid-morning.
