Sewing workshop for adults - March 2026 - 3 evenings (7-9pm)

Create a unique piece for your Summer Wardrobe!
This workshop is an opportunity to create long lasting garments to add (or start!) your own Summer Wardrobe
Learning a skill to repeat over the seasons!
Spend time with friends, old and new in an inspiring space, in a small intimate group, great for your immediate and long term mental health!
You will learn:
Day 1: design and draw your own sewing pattern on paper (real size), to keep with you.
Day2: Cut and sew the main body of kimono
Day 3: Cut and sew cuffs and collar on kimono
You will need: preferably pre-loved garments/duvet covers/left over fabrics from previous projects/large scarves/linen curtains...Re-use from charity shops, Vinted, Ebay, FB Marketplace or friends and family's homes and magic it up!
The amount needed depends on how long you want you kimono to be. If you need help just contact Celine who will be happy to advise you.
Dates: Thursdays 12th, 19th, 26th March 2026
From 7 to 9pm.
Price: £99 or £90 if booked before 21st February 2026
Please note: Previous experience on a sewing machine is preferable but if you are a complete beginner, you can take a one-to-one session to give you the basics to get started on a sewing machine prior to this workshop, just email Celine to arrange a suitable date.
