Learn to sew this November and feel empowered to sew some Christmas presents
You will learn:
- How to cut your pre-loved clothes into the different parts of your bags and facial care kit
- How to make a pocket, lining and straps and make soft washable facial wipes and their drawstring bag + twisted headband or a silk scrunchy.
- How to use a sewing machine and sort most common issues
- How to sew the different parts together in the right order
- How to make 2 versatile projects in 4 weeks
- How to repeat in all sizes and fabrics for your loved ones.
I will provide:
- all equipment, drinks and snacks. If you are allergic or intolerant to any food please do let us know at the time of the booking.
You will need to bring:
- Cotton garments, pre-loved preferable, such as shirts, skirt, dress etc.. but curtains or beddings or any fabric scraps could also work. Just avoid anything stretchy. 2 items to start will be fine.
You will leave with:
- Knowing how to use a sewing machine and sort most common issues
- Sewing skills to help you make more bags at home, in time for Christmas!
- Sewing skills to use for a wide variety of other projects
- Build self confidence in sewing, re-purposing and using sewing machines
- Inspire and teach your children how to sew!!
- Have fun! Create unique pieces!
