Create your own fabric and sew a unique project with it!
Your child will learn:
- How to thread, use safely and fix essential issues on a sewing machine.
- How to use pre-loved fabrics to create their own fabric with soluble embroidery paper
- Design and sew a pocket for passport, phone or glasses with this new unique fabric
- How to put a snap on the pocket to close it
I will provide:
- all equipment, drinks and snacks. If your child is allergic or intolerant to any food please do let us know at the time of the booking.
You will need to bring:
- Nothing for this project! We will re-use existing fabrics in the studio!
Your child will leave with:
- A lot of new knowledge on how to use a sewing machine, use embroidery soluble paper
- Create their very own fabric
- Sew an item
- Make new friends
- Build self confidence
- Discover their own style
- Have fun!
- A sense of pride and achievement and the pleasure to say "I made it myself, actually!"
