Fix your clothes!
Your child will learn:
- How to make alterations to their clothes, curtains, bags....
- How to embellish their clothes to personalise them using lace etc...
- Learn a few hand stitching techniques
- How to be quick and efficient and perhaps start a little side business!
I will provide:
- all equipment, drinks and snacks. If your child is allergic or intolerant to any food please do let us know at the time of the booking.
You will need to bring:
- Anything they want to alter and/or embellish, bring a few! (-;
Your child will leave with:
- A lot of new knowledge on how to do alterations and embellishments
- Their very own pile of alterations done!
- Make new friends
- Build self confidence
- Have fun!
- A sense of pride and achievement and the pleasure to say "I did it myself, actually!"
!!! Please note that this workshop is aimed at children and young adults who can already use a sewing machine due to the fact that they will all bring different items and will need to work independently at points. thank you. !!!
