The facial care kit - an ideal Christmas present!
Your child will learn:
- How to thread, use safely and fix essential issues on a sewing machine.
- How to up-cycle fabrics to create a set of 8 face cleansers, a twisted headband and a drawstring bag to keep everything in.
- Use a sewing pattern to cut out the fabric shapes
- How to sew layers of cotton and stretchy fabric (headband)
I will provide:
- all equipment, including very soft organic cotton for the face cleansers, drinks and snacks. If your child is allergic or intolerant to any food please do let us know at the time of the booking.
You will need to bring:
- Any cotton fabrics- not stretchy nor new please! just about a pillow case size.
Your child will leave with:
- A lot of new knowledge on how to use a sewing pattern and a sewing machine,
- knowledge about sewing small square shapes in layers
- knowledge about how to sew stretchy fabrics
- Their very own set of facial care kit ready to repeat at home!
- Make new friends
- Build self confidence
- Have fun!
- A sense of pride and achievement and the pleasure to say "I made it myself, actually!"
