The hairbrush pocket workshop for children age 8+
The skills your child will learn:
- How to thread, use safely and fix essential issues on a sewing machine.
- How to sew a large bag for their hairbrush as well as pockets for its accessories
- How to install fasteners to fasten the pockets
- Developing their personality and discovering their own style
- Sharing time with other humans and be respectful of themselves and of others in a safe space
- Celebrating our differences
- Having fun!
You will need to bring:
- any cotton fabric such as pre-loved shirt, dress or skirts or a scarf... nothing stretchy, just cotton or similar.
I will provide:
- all equipment, drinks and snacks. Please note, If your child has allergies or food intolerances please let us know when emailing us to request your booking form.
Your child will leave with:
- sewing skills to re-use independently at home
- inspiration!
- a beautiful hairbrush pocket kit
- self-confidence
- new friends!
- a sense of pride and achievement
