4.30-5.30pm- Children/Teens (age 10+) – Intermediate Level
These classes will be teaching children:
• Exploring Fashion throughout the 1920's/30's, the 1940's and finally the 1960's/70's.
• Create fashion items with the influences of the eras being covered.
• Keeping a record in their notebook/pattern book like a scrapbook.
It is a perfect introduction to a GCSE Textiles with the aim to spark the participants' creativity while gaining knowledge and hands-on experience on the subjects of fashion and art throughout History.
Will be included:
• Sewing machines and haberdashery such as zips, fabrics, laces, feathers etc and their note-book/scrapbook to allow and encourage the participants to enjoy researching further and sewing independently at home too.
