Children (7-11 years old/Year 4, 5 and 6)
These classes will be teaching children:
• how to thread, use safely and fix essential issues on a sewing machine.
• how to sew a variety of projects such as bags, clothes, accessories in diverse type of fabrics.
• to start thinking about how to create a little business selling their own creations.
• to start getting speed and attention to details, thinking of ways to be efficient. From January we will be learning how to put a zip, a pocket and the lining on a cross-body bag. This project will be made using scraps of fabrics and re-purposed zips.
Will be included:
• Sewing machines and habidashery such as zips, fabrics and instructions to add in their note book a note book to allow your child to enjoy sewing independently at home too.
Price: 5-week course (10th-17th-24th-31st January and7th Februaruy 2024) - £60

Notes:
• Westonbirt Prep School children: Some car share will be possible, email me if you want to know more.
• This 5-week workshop will be followed by another each term, the website will be updated before it ends to leave you time to book your space in the next one.
