The Easter Bunny

Create a cushion cover for all your sleepovers/travels with pocket and applique of a bunny! 

This workshop is an opportunity to learn and/or practice different skills on a sewing machine while making a useful cushion cover with an applique of a bunny and a pocket.

Now there is a place for their pj, comforter and toothbrush, it's a win-win for everyone! 

Your child will learn: 

• How to cut fabric to achieve the desired project, learning words such as "grainline", "wrong" and "right" sides of fabric, "seam allowance", accurately cut square shapes.
• How to sew an applique on the front using a sewing machine (zig-zag stitch)
• How to put the different pieces together in the right order to obtain an envelope cushion cover
• How to add a pocket at the back
• How to hand-sew a pompom on the bottom of the bunny!

You will need: preferably pre-loved, 2 curtains or clothes such as adults shirts (x2) or a pair of jeans and a Summer dress, 2 pillow cases could also work, we need about 50x50cm twice (2 different types of patterns), not stretchy.

You can find these at home, from charity shops, Vinted, Ebay, FB Marketplace or friends and family's homes.
