IDEAL PROJECT FOR YEAR 9 PUPILS DOING THEIR DofE Award (Bronze- Learn a new skill)
An amazing opportunity for children/young people to spend a morning sewing one or more tote bag(s).
    You will learn: how to use a sewing machine if you are a beginner and fix the classic issues, cut and sew a (or two!)  tote bag to be proud of, straight lines and zig-zag stitches and playing around the motif/personalisations too with the machine. You will be introduced to the overlocker to get a neat and professionnal finish on your seams. 
    You need to bring: a pre-loved shirt (adults size) or a pillow case. (Nothing new or stretchy please.) and any baby/toddler/old dress or top etc that could be included in the project to personalised the bag(s) 
    Will be included: all other equipment and a snack/drinks
