BLANKET TO HOODIE (Intermediate Level)
Tuesday, 18th February 2025 - 9.45am - 3pm
What your child/Teen will learn:
- how to transfer information from an existing garment (their favourite hoodie) onto paper pattern to create their own sewing pattern.
- use a sewing machine/wind the bobbin up/ solve classic issues on the machines and sew their very own hoodie
- intro to overlocker for a professional finish
- how to re-use existing fabric/clothes
What they will leave with:
- Their very own Hoodie and its sewing pattern to repeat at home, hopefully!
All you need to bring is a pre-loved blanket (fleece) and their favourite hoodie/jumper or even a shirt that fits them well. We will not cut this garment, just the blanket!
A lunch/bite. I will provide the rest and a well deserved snack for our little break mid-morning!
