IDEAL PROJECT FOR YEAR 9 PUPILS DOING THEIR DofE Award (Bronze- Learn a new skill)
An amazing opportunity for children/young people to spend a morning sewing a Star Tote bag. They will be learning how to use a sewing machine, straight lines and zig-zag stitching, eye and feet will work as a team! We will also be introduced to an overlocker to obtain a professional finish on the seams. They will go home with a great feeling of satisfaction as well as their new unique bag, to keep or to offer to a loved one for Valentine!
All you need to bring is a pre-loved shirt (adults size) or a pillow case. (Nothing new or stretchy please.)
